Gallery2 photo manager

I with my friend wrote simple utility to add images to any Gallery2 (We use G2 and we like it so much ;) Our gallery http://gallery.wooden-rock.ru/).
I made a little site for it:

Base featuries:
- Open any images from local computer.
- Set title, subtitle and description to selected photos (batch set).
- Also set tags to photos (need to extend g2 protocol).
- Save your photos with full description to own album files (.g2a).
- Open .g2a albums from local computer.
- Connect to any Gallery2 using login/password authefication.
- Load album tree from remote server.
- Send your photos whith full information to selected album.
- Resize photos before sending to selected size whith keeping EXIF data (using exiv2 library).

g2manager is absolutly free, you can download it from download page:

The program looks great, but I'm having problems connecting to my site. The URL including /gallery is around 70 characters, could this be the problem?
The error message states 'Host (my address) not found.'
Was hoping for this to work as I find the java app to be slow.

notice in the screen capture images he is not adding the http:// <- got me when I first tried it too.

Thanks for the fast and informative reply! Unfortunantly I forgot to mention that I already tried that. Also tried with/without trailing slash and even with main.php/index.php.
My #1 suspect is still my ordered-when-drunk-long URL.

Edit: will provide url and user/pass if the developer would like to replicate...

Of course, we can learn your problem, if you give access to your G2. You may create test user with any password and send me.
Current limits for options strings:
G2 url: 260 chars, login: 64, password: 32.
