user-submitted gallery pages? How to?

Hi,

I am inquiring if Gallery 2 can handle being used to allow for user-submitted gallery pages on my website. I want it set up so that user's can submit or update their own galleries, in a way that, once I have it set up, I do not have much to deal with. These galleries would be intended to be available in the gallery area of my site, open to the public.

Does Gallery do this. I read a lot of things on the site, but was not clear exactly if and how this could be accomplished with Gallery.

If Gallery does do this, are there other apps needed for user's to create thumbnails, size pics or other considerations?
