Hi erlis, I have the pear theme with the mosaic setting as default. I tried this in an incognito window (chrome) with the same results - the linkback from facebook opens in grid mode no matter what. |

Hello... am experiencing a small problem with pear4gallery3 while in Mosaic View. Sometimes the main image, and the OPTION LIST LINKS above the image (edit, rotate, delete, etc.) do not center (they are left-aligned). This happens most of the time after using the OPTION LIST LINK = "Delete This Photo". When I refresh the web page, the image and option list are properly centered again. On rare occasion, this centering problem occurs when opening an album in Mosaic view. I tried to include a screen shot for reference. Otherwise, this is a superb theme. THANK YOU! |

Its been a while since I have tested the theme but I think there is a skimm_lim setting on the themes admin page. Change to 1 and you should be good to go. Dave |

As with all themes you just edit the root album. Dave |

Sure, try hovering over the thumbs in either grid or mosaic mode. |

Hello! First, Thanks by this beautiful theme! I created my gallery, but i´m having some trouble with the language/accentuation. It happens like this: Title: "A dança do Magnetismo Estelar" (correct), but it shows: "A Dança do Magnetismo Estelar". Could you please say how can i fix it? Thanks and Regards! Tony Franco |

Dear Erlis, It seems to be a client error (but I for sure can't figure out why it seems to work better in the default wind theme). The trick is to get your browser to support UTF-8 encoding, this is set automatically with the following entry in the header of the page: Quote:
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" Both pear4gallery3 and the Wind theme sets this exactly the same.. I did test it in IE9 and the first load it looks strange, but after a reload it's fine (I'm not sure why this is the case). So, there are two solutions for you, Dave: Do you have an idea?? |

Erlis, Thanks by the reply! I did the procedure that you said, but didn´t work...Both IE9 and chrome were set UTF-8. I set it for several times, but no change... If want to look, www.obrasdarte.com/galeriaobrasdarte Thanks! Tony |

Erlis, is this possible? Is there a module that creates a report about the visitation/comments of the images and albuns ? and makes it by a choosen period? Example: i want to see the report of a picture/album, the view count and comments, from 01-02-2013 to 28-02-2013, all this in a external report. Thanks! |

Hello Erlis! Please, let me ask you about formatation. I took 2 pictures. First: http://clip2net.com/s/4M7L0f (here the info is perfect!) Second: http://clip2net.com/s/4M7Ljv (here the info comes all together) Could the formatation of the info description field stay like when we pass the mouse over the picture in the first link? If we have the option to put links on the description, would be very nice too! Thanks and Regards, Tony |

I have a new install of Gallery 3, I imported my Gallery 2 images and installed pear theme. However, some albums load fine where as others just come up as grey squares. If I go back to wind theme all pictures are fine. I have tried Github and codex package, both behave the same. I have rebuilt thumbs with both graphic toolkits that I have available. Any ideas what is causing this selection of images to not display? Gallery is at licoricegallery.com/pictures |

I am having a problem with Pear4gallery3, but only with Internet Explorer. It seems that IE are not following standards AGAIN (I wonder how they manage to be successful). Here is a short discussion: http://www.tutorialspoint.com/javascript/array_filter.htm Try adding if (!Array.prototype.filter) { Array.prototype.filter = function(fun /*, thisp*/) { var len = this.length; if (typeof fun != "function") throw new TypeError(); var res = new Array(); var thisp = arguments[1]; for (var i = 0; i < len; i++) { if (i in this) { var val = this[i]; // in case fun mutates this if (fun.call(thisp, val, i, this)) res.push(val); } } return res; }; } To the top of pear.js and get back to me if it works (I don't have a IE8 installation available to test on). Also try running the test at http://jsperf.com/array-filter-vs-jquery-filter-vs-custom-array-where and give me the result, so I know how to implement it in an efficient way for IE. |

Hi Erlis! Sure, play around with the visible_title_lenth in advanced settings, (http://<your_gallery_url>/admin/advanced_settings/edit/gallery/visible_title_length). Perhaps we need someone to write together a good FAQ for this theme (a lot of the "issues" discussed here are actually already solved, but hidden in all settings) |

Nice mod! Thanks! Hi, I've been "off the grid" for some time, there of the late reply. By design most modules are not supported in this theme. I can have a look at the specifics of "embed video" plugin (it might be useful even for me) but that have to wait for some time as I'm currently very busy with my daytime job. |
