In Piwigo, you can set different permissions for some pictures in the same album.
I have a album called 2013 with over 200 pictures. However, there are a few of them that i DO NOT wish to share with anyone except a few trusted people. The rest of the album is open for all registred users.
It would be something like this for example:
Album for 2013
50 pictures that everyone can see.
50 pictures that only my friends can see.
50 pictures that only family can see.
50 pictures that one I (or a few trusted) can see.
Would this be possible?
I don't want to create subalbums with different permissions.

No it is not possible without sub-albums. You could use G2 with its complex permissions and firewall.
Options include: http://codex.galleryproject.org/Gallery3:Modules:albumpassword & http://codex.galleryproject.org/Gallery3:Modules:hide & sub-albums.
