[new install of 1.4.1]Gallery has not been configured!

I can't configure. I've unzipped to htdocs\gallery, created htdocs\albums, ran configure.bat, then used IE to the gallery folder. Thats where I get the usual "Gallery has not been configured!" page.
When I click the " Configuration Wizard" link at the bottom left I get "Fatal error: Class 'stdclass' not found in D:\Apache\Apache2\htdocs\gallery\Version.php on line 40"

Apache version: 2.0.47
PHP version (don't just say PHP 4, please): 5.0.0b1
Operating system: Windows2000
Web browser/version (if applicable): IE 6

Rexxenexx, that's really NO suprise.

PHP5 is still highly experimental and Gallery does not run in that environment.

Rexxenexx, latest release version is 4.3.4 :)

I just installed Apache/2.0.48 and PHP Version 4.3.4 and now everything works perfect!
