howto upload and process images through FTP

Hi all,

After reading (almost) all forum entries, I'm still looking for a way to process images after uploading them through ftp (thus not using the Gallery Remote utility).

Say I put image1.jpg in an album directory album1. What do I have to do (on the command line) to have them show up correctly in Gallery...

You have 2 options:

    <LI>Use the Addimage Script <!-- BBCode Start --><A HREF="http://gallery.menalto.com/modules.php?op=modload&amp;name=phpWiki&amp;file=index&amp;pagename=Scripts" TARGET="_blank">on this page</A><!-- BBCode End -->
    <LI>[Add photos] and point Gallery at the path where you uploaded your photos (in the box at the bottom). Gallery then displays a list of all the images in that folder and you can select which ones to insert in Gallery.

Note that it is better to put your files in a temp folder first, Gallery will insert them to the right location in your Gallery automatically. You only have to clean your temp folder yourself afterwards.[/]
