Release Candidates of it should start around the end of June, I think.

I've been playing around with the files on the site listed above...
(remote/current_gallery_remote_applets.zip)
I've installed them, and I realize that it may not have been addressed yet, but, I'm still having my 'full site' slideshow, showing images that I *know* are hidden.

More than just the applets need to change: you need a full install of 1.4.4.

Gladly: can you post or PM me the URL of an album that has the problem?
Edit: Interesting, this one does link direct to the album.

OK, I found and fixed the problem in GR 1.4-RC1 (also G 1.4.4-RC1). Thanks for your persistence!

You rock
Does that fix just the hot linking like above?
Or does that fix the problem with hidden images showing on my digital picture frame with the fullscreen slideshow app?
Or, Both?

It fixes the problem with the slideshow applet showing pictures that should be hidden, nothing more. You may want to submit the other thing in the Gallery forum...

Dude, I hate to do this to you... I know I'm being a pain..
It looks like it works only in part...
I gave 3 links above... Album 59, and a link to an image inside that is hidden.
I also gave a link to album 225...
I haven't *seen* any of the hidden images that are under album 59... however, my hidden folder 225 is still displaying images.
Now... the Album (225) is set to hidden, and the images INSIDE that album are NOT hidden.
Is this something that you cover, or something that I should address to the 'gallery' staff?
Once again, I truly do appricate you help... I hope you appricate my help in trying to help work this 'feature' out of the system.

Yep, any problem with the HTML UI is not me (just the applets). The hidden folder problem is just a security by obscuriy limitation in G1 (G2 doesn't have this problem). In G1 you can also link directly to the image files, which is a related problem. In any case, I myself can solve none of the above.

Which version of Gallery are you using? The fix was supposed to be in a beta of G 1.4.4.

A lot of them have hidden pictures...
And I have a couple hidden folders.
This one contains the most hidden images: ( quick count, about 25 )

This is a direct link to one of the hidden images for your reference:

Interesting.. the bottom link doesn't direct link.. thats cool. Don't recall it doing that before.
However, I *know* I've seen that picture in the slideshow since my upgrade.

This is a link to a hidden nested album under album #1.

Edit: Interesting, this one does link direct to the album.
