I've installed gallery 1.4.4 and gallery remote 1.4.1 (latest versions)....

when trying to upload pictures from gallery remote, I seem to get unable to upload , thumbnail(0) error, which has been reported before.

When I enter my gallery url, there are two errors showing:

Warning: Division by zero in /users/fotoguy/gallery/classes/Image.php on line 236

Warning: Division by zero in /users/fotoguy/gallery/classes/Image.php on line 167

thanks for the help.

just tried uploading from the gallery itself, and got these errors repeated,

- Adding CRW_9466.jpg
   Resizing/compressing original image
   No resizing required
Error: Unable to make thumbnail (0)
Need help? Look in the Gallery FAQ

the composite binary seems to be missing on /usr/local/bin (server), don't know if it's responsible for thumbnailing.

thanks for the help.

I'm experiencing the same problem. We have 4 main albums created under 1.4.1, however, only one of them is displaying on the main page with the following errors:

Warning: Division by zero in /home/tribforc/public_html/home/modules/gallery/classes/Image.php on line 226

Warning: Division by zero in /home/tribforc/public_html/home/modules/gallery/classes/Image.php on line 157

If I click the only album that is listed, I get an import page, again, with just the one album, the same errors above, with more fatal errors reported. If I try to access it directly from the main website, as a module in the postnuke website, more errors show and the albums just plain aren't there.

I've had to disable access to the gallery module for now. Any idea when this will be fixed?

Well, I got around the divide by zero by completely redoing the config and setup.

However, I ran into errors with various functions that I had to rem out before the script would sort of work. canviewcomments functions on all scripts didn't work, so had to rem them out. one of the converttonewuid or however it was worded had to be remmed out as well to even attempt upgrading my albums. The two albums it refused to upgrade I ended up simply deleting, as the reason for not upgrading them was due to the image calls pointing to nonexistant images.

I can now view some of the original albums, but not most of them, and only one subalbum in each main album has the required album title and drop down list for editing by the owner or administrator.

On top of that, the administrative password area of the setup screens doesn't ask for an administrative username, just a password, but if I try to re-enter setup, it asks for the username and password for the administrator and won't accept anything I type into it.

This is a major botched upgrade. My next experiment is to see if I can wipe out the old albums, reinstall the gallery, then try to import them. Worst case scenario is that I'll have to recreate every single individual album. That's alot of work, as one main album has 10 sub albums, two main albums have three sub albums, and at least 2 sub albums have 4 or more deeper subs yet. I don't want to redo all that if I don't have to.

considering for both of you this seems to be a gallery issue, not gallery remote, you'll want to post in the gallery troubleshooting section as thats where the people who will be able to help you spend their time.

If after fixing your gallery issues you still have problems with gallery remote, then post back here.

Sorry. Didn't realize what forum I was in, I'd just used a search to find this issue.

I ended up installing from scratch and manually recreating all albums. Took all evening as feared, but it got me up faster. Everything is working so far. Forgive me for posting in the wrong area.
