resizing of pictures prior to first click

Upon searching on this forum for hours the only thing I came up with is that it has already been implemented.

Upon clicking on the "recreate resize images" and hitting save it saves fine and nothing happens. Of course upon first click it resizes and stays resized just fine.

I have also found all the other posts on a couple scripts to use that they said were now obsolete becasue its built in. I would like to use the built in feature as now to screw anything up. Am I doing someting wrong?

Ah yes, i saw that post but it looks like i do not have that option!

YEs, i have the newest holy hand grenade version

elmo9286, g2 beta 2 (or holy hand grenade) is the latest official public release, but it isn't the latest G2 version.
you'll have to upgrade to a more recent nightly snapshot from http://galleryupdates.jpmullan.com to get this feature.
