Greetings,
I am trying to customize gallery2 - minimally...our need is simple,
where our supporters can see some gift cards, make some choices,
and forward them to us.
(We sort of need it to be ready soon, as we are
announcing the web site Real Soon Now.)
Two issues -
1) I need customizable checkout - either through just
an insert in a database, or an email, etc.
We'll include a bill & envelope in the package,
or give them a Donate URL
2) It would be nice to get the header from the main site included.
Would anyone be able to
a) point me to current docs for current version or
a URL in this forum..... or
b) be interested in working on this

Thanks.
I couldn't get embedded header/trailer to work,
but I was able to hack my main site's header and trailer
into the right spots in local/global.tpf
I just figured out how to search just this customization forum,
and I see there's news about checkout,
which is the last major step for me.
