Probably the only way to do that is to go in and replace the There is no way to do this from within Gallery and to add it would not As for those errors, I've seen that happen when you delete the file or |

I tried to change a thumbnail via ftp but couldn't change the file permissions. Normally I can change the permissions either using WS_FTP (Windows) or using the file manager that my domain host provides through their control panel. With Gallery's albums, though, the CHMOD change attempts were blocked. I'm not sure yet what was causing the failure; maybe somebody with more UNIX knowledge can help out on that. What I wanted to do was replace the default movie thumbnails (for mpegs) with custom thumbnails made with stills from the movies. I saw in the album's file listing that each mpeg thumbnail has a unique number (though they all show the same default image), so I figured I could replace each one with a still. Didn't work, though, since Gallery seems to be protected the albums from "tampering." -- gary_c |

Well, in all probability, the files are owned by the httpd daemon |
