Hello
I've created a gallery with G2 Beta version... I'm a newbie in php and MySql so I asked a friend of mine to instal the Gallery
Everything is OK and fantastic with gallery except for the French font.

For example the "é", "è", "à" the "L" are not well retranscribe in the legend of any album even if French is selected as the langage.

It's the same issu with the album menu

Becoming better and better in "Chinese" , after reading the url Valiant
gave me, I asked to my provider if the GNU is included in their server.
This is the link Ovh.com sent me http://240plan.ovh.net/infos/test.php in reply.
Does anyone could tell me if the reply to my first question is hidden in this link
Thanks...

i don't know where you read something about "the GNU" :)
however, phpinfo is part of the things i asked for, that's good. can't find anything bad in your php configuration.

could you also post a link to your Gallery 2? i'd like to see the problem with my own eyes.

and please go in your Gallery2 to "site admin " then click on "maintenance" and then click on "run task" in the "system information" row.

it should then display some information about your G2.
could you copy this information and paste it here?

ok, it's not what i thought.

please upgrade your g2 to the current nightly snapshot, see:

http://codex.gallery2.org/index.php/Gallery2:faq#How_to_upgrade_Gallery2.3F

probably this won't solve it, but maybe...

if the problem persists:
please ask your webhost administrator if they could run "locale -a" in the command line and send you the output.
