Xaraya: Gallery2 Sideblock isn't showing

The Gallery2 Sideblock isn't showing in my Xaraya 1.0 RC3 installation. When I click in the module "Blocks" directly on the Gallery2 Sideblock then an error message is coming:

The following lines were printed in raw mode by module, however this should not happen. The module is probably directly calling functions like echo, print, or printf. Please modify the module to exclude direct output. The module is violating Xaraya architecture principles.

Do you have any clues? I need the "Download as Zip" functionality. Is it already avaiable in the Gallery2 Sideblock for Xaraya?

already using version 0.6.10 of the integration?

you need the latest g2 snapshot (at most 3 days old or so) and the latest version of the xaraya integration module.

works for me on xaraya 1.0 rc 2.

you may have noticed the ugly "array" string at the top of the pages. i've filed a feature request in xaraya to get rid of this...

I use 0.6.10 of the integration code. Gallery2 version is from 07-17. I use Xaraya 1.0 RC3.

OK, I found the problem. The problem is, that sideblock isn't shown when I browsing Xaraya articles. The sideblock is only shown, when I browsing through Gallery2 through pictures / albums.

So one question for you, is the Xaraya Sideblock only populated, when I browse through my Gallery2? Is it possible, that Gallery2 Sideblock will also be populated when reading Xaraya articles?

How can I configure the Sideblock, that also the most viewed image is displayed? Until now, only a random image is displayed.

the sidebar is only populated when browsing g2 pages.
what stuff from the sidebar do you want to show on article pages?
album select?

i guess this will be possible sooner or later, but not now.

maybe 7/17 is already too old, but you can manage the imageblock settings and the nr of blocks etc. in site admin -> themes -> matrix.

and don't forget that you can instantiate the imageblock in the xaraya blocks page.

Yes, I have thought, I can select an Album, or at least search for images. I have seen, the possibility to change the layout in Themes -> Matrix. Thanks.

I need your help for an further problem. I have set permissions, that only logged in users can view the sideblock. So when Im logged off, there is an ugly message saying "No privilige to access ReadGallery2". How can I get rid of this privilige error message?

@xaraya privileges error: no idea what's the right method. you could just modify the privileges check from xaraya/modules/gallery2/xarblocks/* . instead of returning an error, it could just return null / false / whatever is appropriate or so.
