nope, i guess it's correct as it is.
for the second last item, we don't show the "next" link, we only show the "last" link, because last = next in this case.
tested on your site with IE and FF.
if you think something looks weird, please tell us in what browser on what OS.

and do you have the same issue in G2 standalone or only in g2 / mambo?

and add a link to this topic in the bug description.
also make sure you point out this is a standalone issue with the original, unmodified matrix theme.

I put up a minimal test case that shows the problem in safari: http://moshpit.org/quirksmode/safari_float.html
We should be able to work around this by removing whitespace.
