Path to mambo not accepted in gallery2 component

Can someone help me with integrating G2 into mambo? Ive downloaded the correct component to make the link, but in the admin backend it wont accept the paths i put in.

this is my full path to gallery2 (accepted by config):
/home/uncletaz/domains/celineenmartijn.nl/public_html/celine/gallery2/
the relative path: (the accepted one):
/gallery2

The only path that is not accepted is the one to my mambo location. The full path is:
/home/uncletaz/domains/celineenmartijn.nl/public_html/celine/

Ive tried to input everything: /, /mambo, /mambo/, /celine/, /celine, celine/, etcetera.

Please help me :question:

uncletaz,

try relative path gallery2 or ./gallery2

mambo should be /celine/

report if back if not succesfull.

First thanks for your reply.

I've tried both gallery2 and ./gallery2 in combination with /celine/. In both instances it said "path to mambo incorrect".

okay then relative path should be ./gallery2

try the other celine options
/celine/
celine/
/celine

I've already tried those options (see first message bottom line), they did'nt work.

Would you like to trie yourself, i can make an account for you to get into the backend.

Hi,
i have exactly the same problem as uncletaz with my site and the gallery-component. all path are accepted, except the one to mambo. Is is possible that the path for mambo HAS to be /mambo? in my case it's /portal.

G2 Fullpath /kunden/xxxx/webseiten/portal/gallery2/
G2 relative ../portal/gallery2/
Path for mambo

I tried everything (with and without trailing slash) but always the same --> "Path to mambo incorrect!"

The absolute path to mambo is /kunden/xxxx/webseiten/portal

Every help is welcome!!

G2 relative: should be relative to mambo and not root, if i understand your paths correctly.

G2 relative: ./gallery2
path for mambo: /portal

the relative path to g2 is accepted, that's not the problem. (g2 installation is in mambo directory)
but /portal for path to mambo is not accepted and i don't know why.
