This is gonna seem really stupid, but since G2 doesn't have a written manual yet I can't seem to find an answer....
Looking at many of the demo sites posted in this forum I see that several of them have the EXIF info (or any other info blocks) show up next to, under, over, whatever, the photo without having to use that drop down menu.. How do I do the same thing? How to you make this information show up automatically? Really, I swear I have no idea....
well, that's it for now, thought I had another one, but its too early in the morning...

site admin -> modules, install and activate exif module
site admin -> themes -> matrix, add exif block to photo pages. save.

See now, I suppose that should have worked, but it didn't. When I view the site as a 'guest' all I see is the "Add to cart" thing under the photo, when I deactivated the Cart module, then nothing at all shows up. I know there is EXIF info in my images because I see them in other scripts, but I can't get them to show... like this guy

HOW did he get the EXIF info to show up like that? (I know its an easy solution but I just can't see it)

XtremeCamera, then please ask pedro gilberto in the customization forum. usually, you just have to add the exif block to the photo page blocks . of course, if a photo has no exif data, it shows no block.

Valiant, thanks for your help.. I figured out what happened. Somehow most of the photos I uploaded lost their EXIF info. I think it was the software I used to bring them from the camera to the computer. I uploaded a photo I just took, manually moved to the computer and then uploaded it... EXIF showed up just fine.
