Gallery version (not just "2"): Gallery 2.0
PHP version (e.g. 4.3.11): 5
Webserver (e.g. Apache 1.3.33): Apache 2.0.53 (Windows) and Apache 2.? on Linux
Database (e.g. MySql 4.1.xx): MySql 4.1
Operating system (e.g. Linux): Windows XP AND Linux
Browser (e.g. Firefox 1.0): n/a
HI all. I am trying to run Gallery 2 from my server which needs to be dual booted every once in a while. Most of the time it runs Linux but I have to reboot it in Windows Xp every once in a while. I have tried to put my g2data AND mysql datadir in a common place, but even though MySQL starts and works fine, Gallery does not display anything. I have tried configuring Gallery in the Windows side and it works fine (except for small glitchs with jpg images...). But as soon as I import back the data from the Linux side into MySQL, Gallery stops working right away, even if I use the same g2data directory.
I don't want to have to maintain 2 installations. Especially since some people might add their own albums.
Does anyone have an idea what additional steps might be required? BTW, I noticed that some paths are inserted in the MySQL database, meaning that using the same DB might not work. I could write a small program that changes these path when I start the server in one OS or the other. But is their any other thing blocking it from working ?
Thanks all

well, under windows, the g2data path is a windows path (c:\) and in linux, it's a linux style path (/var/...).
and there might be filesystem permission issues.
and mysql issues.
don't know if it's feasable. just put it on another box and access that box from your dualboot box.
