Gallery 2 Qustions

Hi,

I am looking for the best gallery for my needs.
Hope someone can help me with the following questions:

1) Is there a way to setup Gallery 2, so that users upload photo's via FTP to a special directory.
Reason I want to know this, is because lots of servers have an upload limit on HTTP uploads (via browser). I want an administrator sort out the uploaded photo's over the different albums.

2) Is there any other problem of photo's being large? Like 10MB each?
The site I want to make is for artwork that has to be printed, and could be 300 or even 600 dpi.

3) I want a two usergroups. Group A has rights to 5 albums, Group B has rights on all albums, including the Group A albums. I guess this is possible, but I'd better ask
