Hi Guys,
i have just installed wordpress for a favour for my Dad, with gallery2 for a site for him and his camping buddies. I have managed to get the site up, images in the gallery but am having consistent issues with the Embedded Gallery2 page on Word PRess.

When selecting the Photo Gallery menu item on the OWrd PRess link page, it does not display any thumbnails on the embed page. Nor when a link is selected as text does it return to the approporate gallery page. I conistently get a
The requested URL /htdocs/dederangcamp/gallery2/v/2005_001/ was not found on this server.
There is no v directory on the server.
Any assistance with this would be great as i am a relative newbie on using WP and G2

disable the url rewrite module and consult the http://wpg2.ozgreg.com documentation on how to properly set the embedded rewrite stuff up

Still no luck even after following the instructions to a T. You will see form the URL posted that the embed is not working correctly. If anyone can point this newbie in the right direction, muchly appreciated in advance.
