Drupal 4.6.3 and G2: add comments

Both drupal and G2 are set to allow comments but there is no link for adding comments to photos. (I do not want comments on album, just photo).
Do I need to config or add codes somewhere?

Do you have "Item Actions" selected in G2 Site Admin->Themes->Your Theme->Blocks to show in the sidebar ?

I am running into this as well.
I can see the comment action in the 'item actions' drop down as an admin, but when I use a member or guest login, I can no longer see it. Any clues?

Thanks. Added "item actions" to photos and it works.
Is there anyway to disallow "create links"?

If you mean "Link item", search for GalleryCapabilities on forums and make changes in config.php to disable this menu item at all.

joanm - check the permissions on your albums. Go to Edit Permissions in G2 and see if the Add Comments selection is there.

Continental, I went through config.php and could not see any related code. Which line should I be looking for?

I just searched the forums for "GalleryCapabilities link" and found this: http://gallery.menalto.com/node/38343 which does what you need I think.

I have another problem with "add comment". I can't see it in place it should be. I've checked everything in Drupal admin menu but it's too complicated. Can you give me advice how to enable "add comment" link?
