question about permissions

I have a question about how the permissions work within Gallery. Am I able to have users create a group and make access to that group available to specific users only. Possibly by invite. or can a user browse a list of others and select them from the list. Essentially what I am looking for is to create a group for my family members only. and then be able to allow and or deny access to albums on a user to user basis. Possible? |

Install it and try it out. You have complete control over permissions.
-Create Groups and add users to them
-Assign permissions to users, groups, or everyone

If you have access to two side by side computers, as I do, you can do what I did. I make changes on one computer using the admin or other user account to see how it affected the account logged in on the other computer.
Clumsy I agree but effective. I now have a good understanding of how the permissions work and I like it.

Another trick is turning off cookies in your browser and having two separate windows, one logged in as admin and one logged in as a user.
