Hurrah! Wordpress and Gallery2 - sort of!

Check out the postmap and photomap - OK, I got a LOT of populating to do, but the principle of the thing works.

I plan on sorting through all my notes and posting a "what I learnt" here, because I learnt a LOT! The main thing being DO NOT think you can install gallery2 on a PC, then port it to a Linux host - it cannot be done! Cost me a whole weekend, totally wasted.

BUT - it's going now. Thanks to the Gallery team for the 2.1 version 2, infinitely better than the first 2 release.

(PS - don't forget the little "drop down" on the right - no one seems to notice it!)

Why not replace the images like this site:

Or make your own a bit more distictive.

Because life is short and I don't "do" graphics! In fact, the drop down I was referring to was the one third to the right under "advanced search" that brings the gallery menu down. Thanks for the suggestion anyway.
