I have successfully installed image gallery onto my phpnuke 7.6 site and have it activated as a module. While it does function for viewing it does not recognize existing Nuke users or existing admin from Nuke. It only allows new members through it's own system and the default admin. It can and will successfully upload pictures and register new users. However I would like it to run seamlessly with the phpnuke 7.6 and it's current user system.

Thanks for any advice,
JKBHSF

Hi,
I think I am having exactly the same problem. Essentially a missing navbar.
I am using PostNuke 7.6.2 and Gallery 1.5.3. (I also have a PostNuke 7.5 install with the same problem)
My server is Apache 2.0.54, with PHP 5.0.4 all running on a freshly updated Fedora Core 4.

I have installed Gallery several times in an attempt to get PN to pass user credentials to Gallery (I am using install defaults only, the only thing I changed is the password and the temp directory).

Gallery works fine if you use the actual install URL, but if you login to PostNuke and click the link to Gallery, even admin cannot add albums or photos.
At first, I thought Gallery was just incompatible with PN 7.5 and above, but I think some people at nukedgallery.net have actually gotten it to work.

If anyone has a suggested fix it would be greatly appreciated.
Meanwhile, for 'jkbhsf,' just use the direct URL and setup users manually, that's what I do.
