A few questions about the Script

Hi everyone, this looks like the script i've been looking for....and i mean for ages.

Quick few questions though:

1. A assume that i can set a master gallery and allow member to post photos to that gallery, rather than each member having their own gallery?

2. Is there an option to allow members to email the photo directly to the gallery (something where photos can be sent directly to a POP3 account and the script will only accept photos sent from a registered email address)

3. How easy is it to integrate a forum with the gallery?

1. i don't know what you mean with "master gallery", but yes, g2 is multi-user ready and you can define which user / group can add (upload) items, add comments, etc.
and there's a useralbum module which automatically creates an album for each user.

2. Can be achived with g2add.pl and procmail recipes, but that's a pretty advanced task. Search the forums for "procmail recipe" to see a working example for G1.

Thanks guys, i've downloaded and installed Gallery 2. Currently playing around with it to see if its what i want.

Got a few other questions, might be stupid ones seeing as i've not had much sleep.

I cant seem to set it up so that when a user uploads a photo to their gallery its added to the main gallery at the same time, i assume this is possible but i cant seem to set it up.

Also i'll be looking to create my own theme, am i able to do this in dreamweaver?

nope. this might be a confusion on how g2 is meant to work or this useralbum stuff is meant to work.
whena user adds an item to his useralbum, it's added there and only there.
but the useralbum is an integral part of the gallery. useralbums are usually 1, 2 clicks near from the gallery frontpage.

with dreamweaver, you can create a mock up of a new theme. but you then have to apply the css styles and the html from dreamweaver etc. manually to the .tpl and .css files in in gallery.
