Embedded Gallery doesn't keep me logged in

Sorry if this has been covered, but I couldn't find anything searching the forums for my problem. I'm running the latest gallery 1.5.3 embedded in mdpro 1.0.76. I've had it running fine for a long time with previous versions, and through upgrading both platforms until recently. Even before I upgraded gallery to 1.5.3, I've had a problem with gallery keeping me logged in. Here is what happens; when I go to gallery from my website (mdpro), the main gallery page has me logged in as admin and says "welcome drwynn" just like it's supposed to. However, when I go anywhere else in the gallery beyond that, I'm no longer recognized. Just a guest user. The only way I can make any changes to my gallery is to login to it outside of mdpro and it's kind of a pain. I did see this question asked in the forums back in october but with no replies. I'm hoping someone can tell me what the problem is so I can fix it. Also, I don't have direct access to the machine it's running on (to edit php.ini and what not), so I can't make those types of changes directly if that's the problem. I'm running it on a hosted website via ftp. Any ideas? Thanx! L8r! |
