I built up a site when Gallery2 first came up, with two seperate gallery's. I have added a large number of images and now want to upgrade to the newest Gallery2 release.
The only thing is I have used a early release of gallery one of the first beta releases. Which cannot be upgraded.
What I would like no know is if I can migrate all the images across and manually update the database so the new images will appear in my new gallery? and if so how would I go about starting such a project?
Or am I wasting my time, should I start from scratch, I do have a very large number of images though.
Any assistance tips would be great. I know I have stuffed up here because all along it said you will not be able to update this version...
