galleradd.pl v 2.10 problem

I'm having issues uploading files with galleryadd and even worst the albums it creates goes into my friends sub folder.

Problem 1:

When trying to create an album, it gets created in my friends subalbum????

command:
./galleryadd.pl -G2 -g http://www.etomic.net/photos -uatippett -p **** -c albumname

I've even tried selecting the sub album with -a (both numeric id and albumn name)

./galleryadd.pl -G2 -g http://www.etomic.net/photos -uatippett -p **** -c albumname -a 718

./galleryadd.pl -G2 -g http://www.etomic.net/photos -uatippett -p **** -c albumname -a anthony-maria

Problem 2:

When trying to upload an image I get the following:

status_text=Upload failed\: 'user id\: 21 doesn't have permission\: core.addDataItem for item id\: test89'

command:

./galleryadd.pl -G2 -g http://www.etomic.net/photos -uatippett -p ***** -c test89 /tmp/CIMG1728.JPG

If anyone can help please let me know
