Hello hello,
I am a new gallery user. I have a little problem. When uploading an image to an album i have no thumbnail image in the album. When i go to Edit Album / General > Thumbnail (Set the size of the thumbnail. The largest side of the thumbnail will be no larger than this value. Leave this field blank if you don't want a thumbnail), i get an error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: getmimetype() in /home/content/a/r/i/arikzara/html/gallery/modules/core/ItemEditItem.inc on line 161

Any idea's what causes this? Hopefully not, and hopefully someone can help me out on my error, Gallery looks very nice.

FAQ: What information is required when I ask for help in the forums?

- what exact gallery 2 version?
- is it embedded in another application?

i looked at the code of Gallery 2.1.2 and compared it to the current code.
There was a bug that would occur when G2 failed to generate a thumbnail (highlight) for an album and then ignored this edge case later in the request.
This bug has been fixed a while ago.

You can either upgrade to a nightly snapshot of G2, do an svn update or wait for g2.2.
