Complete Newbie Needs Help!

I'm completely new to this whole webserving and php stuff. I'm sure I got gallery installed correctly. Since it comes up on my browser (hanlee.info/gallery). I downloaded gallery remote and logged into hanlee.info/gallery But all the buttoms are grayed out. When I drag and drop a picture it does not do anything. So how do I go about putting pictures up. I installed gallery via ftp and am on a windows xp machine. And I don't know much information about my webserver besides that fact that I think I got gallery installed correctly. :smile:

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

OK I figured it out. Should have thoroughly read the documentation on the website.

Ok, so what did you figure out? I have the same problem, can you tell me how to get it working.

Hanlee means just the ReadMe.html that comes with Gallery Remote (installed in the main Gallery Remote directory), and for which the installer creates a link in the Start>Programs menu (on Windows).

All you need to do is click 'Login'. You can't add pictures before you've logged in and fetched the list of albums on your gallery.
