Get functionality to a block

Hello,

I'm quite far with my module. But now i have a theme problem (i think, please corect me if this should be in the module page).
In my photo.tpl i made a block. This block should be able to extract data from a database map. But simply said.. I dont know how.
My research on google didnt go very well. Same as on these forums, so i beg all of you.. Please help me :>

It should be able to comunicate with a .inc file, just like normal .tpl files.
