6 Warnings appear at the Authenticate Stage of Install

Hi, Apache is running online nicely. At the first install stage where it checks login.txt it comes up with these errors (sorry If im not meant to post error logs this my first post in this forum!)

The warnings appear above the Gallery2 installer and when I hit the link "As a convenience to you, we've prepared a correct version of login.txt for you." I just get a web page with the same links on. looks like it might be a PHP problem. Maybe something to do with it being in safe mode perhaps. how would i check this?

this has some related information:
FAQ: The installer does not accept my login.txt, what's wrong?

basically, your webserver's php session extension isn't configured properly. php can't write to the session.save_path. you need to change the session.save_path or give the webserver permission to write to /var/lib/php5/.

this is technical stuff you shouldn't have to worry about if you're not the administrator of the server yourself.
please ask your webhost to fix this. they didn't configure php properly.
just point them to this forum post and they should know what to do.
