installation even doesn't start

i downloaded InstallGalleryRemote.Win32.VM.exe and tried to install ... install bar goes like - preparing - then disapiers and ... and nothing :)
I restarted my comp, i tried in safe mode, i tried with different user - same nothing.
I'm on windows xp sp1, 512ram . on my other comp. everything seems to be fine .
maybe u've got some suggestion, cause i realllly don't wanna reinstall winxp ...

It's probably a problem with how your VM is set up. What you should do is download the pure Java installer. It won't be as easy to run, but at least you should be able to get it to run.

This will require you to install a Java VM first, if you don't already have a Java 1.4 VM.
