Integration into Website

Hi all,

I've got a bit of an issue with G2 and I'm hoping someone here might be able to shed some light on it - I've ploughed through the forums and Gallery Codex but the documentation's a bit heavy going for someone new to G2 (even though I'm used to PHP programming!)

I want to use G2 to hold all my photos, and be accessible as the normal G2 interface through gallery.mydomain.com. This I've got set up and working fine.

The sticking point comes because I also want to embed the gallery in my website at www.mydomain.com. I want to be able to write a page about a subject and then have the relevant G2 gallery inserted in the page, without any of the trappings of G2 like login or sidebar.

Is this kind of setup possible? I have to admit that after reading through the documentation that I'm no clearer about what embedding can actually achieve; there are references to removing the sidebar through embedding but that's about the only thing I can find.

If anyone can give me a shove in the right direction, it would be much appreciated!
