Help - our gallery isn't working anymore...

On the non-profit, fan-driven website NataliePortman.com we had to start using an image gallery to keep track of our ever growing image archive. So I started using Gallery and was very satisfied and it met all our needs with some customization.

Until recently when we had to change server.

I tar:ed our old gallery into a tar file, moved it an untared it keeping as much the same as possible with URL:s, paths and usernames/passwords and it seemed to work flawlessly. But now it's completely fubar - we can't do anything else than just add new images. We can't move them, rename them or anything. I've tried resetting the permissions, I've tried removing the .users and resetting password, I even tried doing a migration to Gallery2 and it works for some galleries but not the new ones.

When entering a gallery everything loads but when I click "Move photo" I get the popup but with "404" error message. The URL is correct, the file is there and working (even used a 3 year old backup!) but it seems some of the variables aren't going over. I've used the same php settings on both servers. I've gone through the albums.db and all the files I can think of to try to find out why it doesn't work but haven't found anything at all. And we're stuck and desperate.

If anyone here feels they can help us with this please contact me, either here or on MSN

and we'll try to sort it out. I'm sure it's just a little small switch somewhere that's fucked.

Our gallery is huge, thousands of images and we don't want to redo it all, that's just not an option.

Anyone?!
