URL: http://www.facebook.com/apps/application.php?id=8979233137 GalleryPhotos is a Facebook app that displays photos from a Gallery2 RSS feed on your Facebook profile page. I couldn't find something that did what I want: display some of my photos from Gallery2 on my Facebook page without requiring me to actually import them into Facebook. It's new, and comes with no guarantee! Feedback, bug reports, & suggestions are welcome, of course. |

David,
Kudos! The app works great on Facebook and fits nicely into either column.
If you're asking for suggestions for improvement, I would like to know if there might be a way to adjust any settings. For example, I'd like to:
1) adjust the number of photos the feed displays (right now it seems to be set at "6");
2) add an image for the overall feed;
3) add the option of filename, description and/or summary field to each image displayed;
4) add folder name in which each image appears.
Sorry if it sounds like I'm asking for the moon. These are just nice features, but none are essential.
BTW, I use "Blog RSS Feed Reader" on Facebook to display previews of my blog posts. It's a good FB app offering nice customization for blogs (which you may want to check out for ideas), but obviously it doesn't display photos from Gallery.
Great app, and I'll be looking for any future updates, that is, if you have any time.

Well I just hit this post and I built the same thing! Well really I made mine for G3 and then updated it to go back and work with G2 feeds. I could not get this one to work, but take a look at mine and comment on facebook if you have improvement ideas. http://apps.facebook.com/galleryfeeder/

hello guys,
great thanks for your efforts, i had already tried to do something similar but apparently i´m too stupid or at least my skills were not sufficient
i tried to add the gallery status updater to a company profile i administer (not my personal one!!)
and i can add the app but i cannot get to the administration settings of the app for that page as it always asks me for permission to publish to MY fb-profile instead of the pages´ (where i granted permission)
can you help me with that?
page i want to integrate is http://www.facebook.com/JAM.Reisen
the second app cannot be added to pages instead of personal profiles at all? id be very happy to test that one, too

Thanks a lot for this app, I've been needing something like this for a while now.
