"Edit caption" not multilingual?

Hi folks, the "Edit caption" command is supposed not to be multilingual! It might be just my fault, but as always, if you can't find what you are looking for, try to ask others After activating multilingual entries for Gallery 2.2.4, I klicked at "Edit Captions" (German "Beschriftungen ändern"). This shows the current german descriptions of my pictures, but no way to edit the english ones. Editing those entries, only the german captions are changed. Even if I have choosen the language setting "English (UK)", I can only change the german captions with this form. Have I really go to every photo's "edit photo" command to input the english descriptions? If you have any idea, please let me know. If not, this would be my feature request for any further release. The edit captions are not multiligual.
It has been added as a feature request already but with limited resources it might be some time before it is implemented:
