Hi,
I'm using Gallery 1.xx since a long time und I'm very happy with it. But now I have a big problem Postnuke .0764 was updated to zikula 1.0 and Gallery 1.57 is not longer compatible. Is there any plan to make this working?
I would be glad for any hint. My users really love Gallery 1.57 and I like to avoid two migrations at same time. I know some other Postnuke/Zikula with the same problem.
Best regards
Ollie

Therfore I cannot upgrade to Zikula (wich is much better!), because my webgalleries will nit work after this.
Please help! Thx.

Hi Tim !
This are very good news, thank you for developing Gallery 1.xxx futher. One question.
Is it possible to keep Gallery 1.xxx compatible with Postnuke 0.764 and Zikula? Many people need morge time to switch to Zikula because at this time the upgrade package is in work but not ready, so all Postnuke 0.764 users have to wait for the upgrade package and we don't how much time this takes. If you make it compatible with Zikula only all Postnuke 0.764 users can not upgrade or patch their galleries.
Best regards

I just tried 1.6RC1 with Zikula 1.0.2 (which is simply PostNuke 0.8 renamed and version bumped). After the normal Gallery install, I go into Zikula's module admin and activate gallery, but when I hit the URL http://www.mysite.org/index.php?name=gallery I get a blank page.

Hello,
i am a little disappointed about you guys.
Gallery 1.5.6+ is compatible with Zikula. It just sees Zikula as postNuke.
Did you try to enable the legacy module support? Like you had to do since postNuke 0.720
/me is angry about himself to got buffaloed.
Tough i will adjust the code so Gallery knows that it runs in Zikula.

Hi
Sorry I did not want you to work for nothing.
I tried it again and again. I have some more legacy modules, so I always use legacy mode. I always become a blank page. OK, zikula is out in a newer version 1.02 by now. At my testings I used 1.01 (it was the newest), maybe is there a gallery friendly code in the update.
I will test it with the updated version tomorrow and will post my results.

Hi Jens!
I updated to Zikula 1.02 some minutes before and installed gallery 1.58. I disabled und enabled again Lagacy Mode. And what should I say, it works. Integration is without errors.
Sorry, Jens ! I do not really understand why it working now and not before. It was not my intention to make you a lot of workload. My first 4 tries where without to get it running.
Best regards

Hi Jens
Ollie again. It seems to trouble again.I'm not able to create albums, administer frontpage or enter administration when it's integrated. If I click on it a the nothing happens.Do I have to change session handling in security settings?

I don't know.
For me all those things work in my Zikula/Gallery install.

I will play a little bit around with session handling and short urls. I believe something of this is responsable for trouble.
If nothing helps I will setup all by fresh, for testing again

OK. If I use the path xxx/index.php?type=popup&name=gallery&include=administer_startpage.php the popup works. That is interesting.
My path is: xxx/index.php?type=popup&name=&include=administer_startpage.php. That is strange
