joomla 1.013. gallery 2.2. bridge 2.0.14 how can i get the link for the dynamic albums to render in the joomla framework. when configuring the gallery2 dynamic albums plugin it gives the following url: http://www.kayakidaho.com/gallery2/main.php?g2_view=dynamicalbum.UpdatesAlbum the joomla link to gallery: http://www.kayakidaho.com/index.php?option=com_gallery2&Itemid=110 I can wrap the link but it isn't very satisfactory. thanks |

HOW-TO crate link to Dynamic albums
You can add a link, or actually a "album", to the dynamic albums on in any album you want.
Suppose you want a link to the dynamic album "Most Populair" in your first, or main, album.
Your main album is at: www.YOURD-DOMAIN.COM/gallery/main.php
1) Go to: "Site Admin" --> Dynamic Albums and copy the link for most popular photos (that is the fist one on the page with the 2 dynamic albums). The link looks like http://www.YOURD-DOMAIN.COM/gallery/main.php?g2_view=dynamicalbum.UpdatesAlbum
2) Go to the first album at www.YOURD-DOMAIN.COM/gallery/main.php
3) Click on "Add Item"
4) Select the TAB "Link"
5) Select "Link to External URL"
6) Past the link from the clipboard in the textfield. Something like: http://www.YOURD-DOMAIN.COM/gallery/main.php?g2_view=dynamicalbum.UpdatesAlbum . It is also possible use a link without the domain and path to the gallery directory. You can use this link as it is: main.php?g2_view=dynamicalbum.UpdatesAlbum
7) Hit the action button.
Now you have a link (album with a chain) on your fist Gallery page. (fist album) You can change the picture of the link by using the "Edit Item" function.
