Hi, I'm pretty new to all this, but things seem to be going OK. I've been messing around with stuff to get it to integrate into phpBB2 and something I changed caused the caption of the picture to be changed at upload from the filename to the username of the person uploading it with parenthesis around it. I like it to just be the file name. Can you tell me where that could have changed because I'm not exactly sure where it could have been although I think it might be in classes/Album.php or save_photos.php. Thanks! |

Presuming you are using 1.3.5 (there's a reason why we ask you for that information when you post to this forum), then just bring up album properties and uncheck "Display owners name with caption"

Sorry for not giving it out the first time. There is no option for that in my version of gallery. Where else could I look? Thanks again, sorry for not giving enough info in the first place

That's me out - this is a feature of 1.3.5 but is not available in 1.3.4!
So whatever you have changed has caused this, and I can't begin to guess what that was.
You know there is an existing integration with phpBB2. 1.3.1, I think.
