I am running a Geeklog 1.5.1 site, with gallery 2.3 using G2Bridge 2.3. Everything works great for the admin account and one user. The other user accounts can view the gallery but have no other rights. If the user logs in directly to Gallery they have full permissions. I have removed the G2Bridge software, deleted the users, re-added them in Gallery, ran gallery maintenance clearing database and template cache, deleting user sessions,then readded the G2Bridge software. I have tried i.e. 7 and firefox. I have also used different PC's. I currently have my Cookies set to Path /geeklog/public_html and Domain .mywebsite.com but i have tried every other combination from null to / and on down the line. I have also created a new group which I gave all access and added all of the users. This group has rights at the gallery level down, as does the requestered users. Since I created the gallery and current albums with my working user account, I also changed the owner from my user account to my admin account with no effect. I also changed the owner to the user account with no access which also had no effect. In addition, I turned on the module for users to create their own albums, which the other site users can do but then do not have any permssions in those albums. I have also tried syncing the user using the G2Bridge plugin. Last night I went through the database and verified that my user account that works was set up exactly to the other user accounts that do not work. I did not see any anomalies. What am I missing? Please help!! Gallery URL = http://mywebsite.com/geeklog/public_html/gallery/main.php |

So when your users are logged in to geeklog and goto G2Bridge/index.php does their username show in the lower right hand corner?
Username|Guest

no, not for my users that don't work. For my user account that works it does and I can switch from my view to guest view.

So in http://mywebsite.com/geeklog/public_html/admin/configuration.php -> G2Bridge
Your configuration looks something like:
Public directory : G2Bridge
Full url to your G2Bridge or public directory index.php : http://mywebsite.com/geeklog/public_html/G2Bridge/index.php
Full url to you gallery2 with trailing / : http://mywebsite.com/geeklog/public_html/gallery/
A url to your top secret site would be helpful.

not super secret, just super uncreative. www.thezahnersisters.com.
looking in the application I have the following set
Public directory G2Bridge
Full system path to your gallery2 -- /home/content/g/i/n/ginleezah/html/geeklog/public_html/gallery
Full url to your G2Bridge or pubic directory index.php -- http://thezahnersisters.com/geeklog/public_html/G2Bridge/index.php
Full url to your gallery2 with trailing / -- http://thezahnersisters.com/geeklog/public_html/gallery/

Well, setup a user for me and pm me with the usename/password.
seeing yoursite as a guest doesn't help.
It would be good to have the useralbum setup working so I can have an album to see some permissions too.

set the cookie path in gallery to / and leave the domain as is. Make sure you delete the cookies for yoursite from your browser anytime you change them.
And you said the users are being mapped to gallery properly? Meaning they are getting created by the bridge?

changed my cookie path to /. To confirm users being mapped properly added new user "testuser" to geeklog. Bridge created gallery user and added album. And if I log in as that user via geeklog I have all permissions. Also deleted another user and readded via geeklog and it that account now works as well. But my existing users are still broken. Just crazy. Is the easiest solution to delete and readd my users via geeklog?

There is no "back mapping" of users
only from geeklog -> gallery.
gallery needs to know their external id.
so we do not map from gallery -> geeklog.
