gallery remote not seeing albums

after clicking log in on Gallery Remote, Gallery Remote says it is "fetching albums" and then when it looks like it is done, the drop down menu is empty and the LOG IN button is active again. i have uninstalled GR and reinstalled it. i have gone back to an older version and no luck there either. any ideas?

Give us your Gallery/webserver information to get a faster answer.
Get this information from the PHP diagnostic (in the configuration wizard).
Gallery URL (optional but very useful):
Gallery version: 1.2.5
Apache version:
PHP version (don't just say PHP 4, please):4.0.6
Graphics Toolkit: NetPBM
Operating system: Linux
Web browser/version (if applicable):

You are using a rather older version of Gallery but what version of the GR are you using?

tried 1.0.1 and .3, both reacted the same way, not showing the albums.

maybe i will just update the gallery version and it will fix itself.

Since you are using a rather newer version of GR, I'd upgrade to the latest stable Gallery version. I know for a fact that there have been updates to the GR server files since 1.2.5.
