I noticed in the Gallery Remote, the is a setting for "standalone" and one for "PostNuke", but is there an easy way to set it up for PHPnuke? I can get it to work using the standalone gallery type, but that won't work for PHPnuke's usernames and passwords. Is there a way I can have my gallery users set it up to allow their PHPnuke username and password for the Gallery Remote? Please let me know if and how this can be done. Thanks.

I have no idea how PHPNuke authentication URLs work.

For PostNuke integration, someone (Bharat) just provided the URL I should use to authenticate, and the URL to the Gallery module.

My model for supporting this is very easy to adapt to another CMS such as PHPNuke, so if someone provided the URLs and a test install of PHPNuke, I could do this fairly quickly.

I have a test install of PHPNuke at:

If you need any username or password for the admin, let me know and i can give it to you.

Thanks.

Alright, thanks a lot! Look for PHPNuke support in some of the early betas of GR 1.2.

The first betas will be out in the next couple of weeks, depending on the load at my day-job.

That sounds great. Where can we go to find out when/where they will be available?

If you're running GR 1.1, you can just activate the pref to watch for new beta releases on startup.

Otherwise, beta builds are posted on this page (seems to be down right now though... no, just slow).

Is there anyway to setup Gallery Remote so that when I upload images, they appear that the beginning of the album list instead of the end? I know the Gallery program has it in the settings to put the newest photos at the beginning, but I don't see it anywhere for the remote. All they images I add with the remote go to the end of the list. Is there anyway I can change this? Please let me know. Thanks.

There is no such functionality. However, in GR 1.2 you can download the pictures currently in the album and then add the new pictures anywhere and sort all the pictures. Would that fit your purpose?

Yeah, that would be great. I can't wait for this next release to come out! Thanks,

Matt

docmattman, could you download this new GR beta and verify that PHPNuke support works? Thanks.

GR 1.2-b3 has PHPNuke support. docmattman has verified that it works.
