Big galleries using G2?

Are there some big websites using the G2 for multiuser galleries / portfolios showing photos? I just wonder, how big the G2 could be to work fast and no problems. |

It all depends on what you want to do and how big it gets. Gallery can handle it, but if you have a huge site with tons of visitors the hardware will be in question
care2.com uses a very highly customized (in house) version of G2 on some very powerful hardware. But Joe7's dog photo site for example isn't run on much of anything special, though it is a dedicated server:
