Trying to insert a hyperlink in summary information

Hello I am extremely new to gallery and was introduced by a friend to it a few days ago. Apologies if this isn't the right forum to post this in, but I don't have an actual problem with gallery it works just fine. I am currently using the Ajaxian theme. What I am trying to do is insert a hyperlink on the picture info box that pops up when you click the image intially. Each image I am uploading requires a general list of information (I am using the caption inserted into the summary which displays it in the box and on the full size image description) but I also need a link (possibly 2) to other websites which contain other specific info. What I would like to do is have these links below the summary text where the current click to view full size image link is located. I'm really hoping all that just made sense Thank you for any assistance you can render. Regards |

i don't know if i understand you correctly but i will try to respond.
first go to SITE ADMIN => GENERAL => Embedded Markup , and activate one of markup methods (BBCODE or HTML). bbcode is more easy to use but html formatting is more flexible.

then "Edit Photo" and you can add clickable URL links in the description of a image.
if you want those links to appear on all images you can edit your theme template "themes\ajaxian\templates\photo.tpl"
p.s. i don't think summary can support markup by default. you probably need to modify some core files to do that.
